Our story

It began with one livestream.

idolLiveAudio grew from a simple wish: make the preparation easier, so the person in front of the microphone can focus on singing.

01 / An everyday need

Before the software, there was a singer.

In early 2025, my wife livestreamed singing almost every day. Before each broadcast came the same preparation: open the audio software, connect the virtual audio devices, load the plugins and check the settings.

Changing a computer meant setting everything up again. A plugin update could unsettle a setup that had been working well. The tools were capable, but the preparation took attention away from what she wanted to do: sing live.

Why is professional live audio still so difficult for everyday creators?

That question became the starting point for idolLiveAudio.

02 / Keep it simple

Build the tool we actually needed.

The first version was a personal tool to make one person’s daily livestream easier. Its goal was straightforward:

01

Open the software.

02

Load a preset.

03

Start singing.

That goal still guides the product today. Features grow from the needs and inconveniences encountered during actual livestreams.

I did not come from a traditional software engineering background. AI helped turn ideas into code, while product decisions, the way people use the software and the responsibility for testing remained in human hands.

03 / Learn by listening

Every livestream taught us something.

Once the first version worked, the software became part of daily livestreams, often running for more than eight hours at a time. Unexpected behaviour became a bug report; an awkward step became something to improve.

Before the product reached its first customers, it had accumulated thousands of hours of real use. Those experiences helped shape the next version, and the version after that.

The aim remains the same: understand how people work, make the useful things easier and keep refining the details.

04 / The next chapter

From one room to more creators.

The personal tool became a Windows audio application with live processing, VST3 plugins and preset management. idolLiveAudio is now owned, developed and published by ILA SOFT COMPANY LIMITED.

It is the first chapter of iLA Soft’s journey. The lessons behind it continue to shape our work: start with a real need, build with purpose, learn from use and keep improving.

More time for what you love creating.

That is the idea we want to carry into every product we build.
